SHIVA DOL

SIVA DOL - Shiva Dol is the tallest Shiva temple in the entire Northeast India. It is the highest temple in the country as well with a height of 104 feet. The Vishnu Dol and Devi Dol are other two small temples surrounding this tall temple and are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Durga. Siva dol is a group of structures comprising three Hindu temples of Sivadol, Vishnudol and Devidol shrines, and a museum. These are located on the banks of the Sivasagar tank, also known as the Borpukhuri tank, in the heart of Sivasagar, in the Indian state of Assam.
